One of the most powerful things you can give someone who is starting over is a skill set and a plan. DIY's pro-bono anti-recidivism program brings hands-on entrepreneurship coaching to individuals with criminal records, in partnership with local nonprofits, youth justice centers, and women's transition facilities.

The program meets participants where they are. Through structured workshops, participants are guided from the earliest stages of ideation through the foundational steps of building and launching a business. Every session is designed to be practical and accessible, and every participant leaves with real tools, a working plan, and a network of support to carry them forward.
